This week, that was more official, and a long weekend is a great time for that, right? We had 3 birthdays, so Coach Shawn called us to junk-food action, leading the charge with pizzas from New York Cafe on Broadview. Yum. Steph and Robin brought pizzelle. Yum. Jannie made salted caramel brownies. Yum. Who brought the lemonade cupcakes? Because, yum, too. Or the cheesecake? Because that's not just yum, that's my kryptonite. Was there any junk food I missed? Please say no. I'd be very upset.
I mean, what's a party? A bunch of people getting together, doing fun stuff, chatting and getting all hyped up. Which you can say about all the best extra-curricular classes you've ever taken, right? It totally describes our weekly archery lesson. It's like you can be guaranteed a party every week. If you ever needed a reason to take a class in something, there's one for you.
Battling food comas and end-of-long-weekend wanting to curl up on a blankie, we came out the other side with the funny roaring and arrows flying. It would appear that if you put fun people together the fun doesn't add up, per se. It grows exponentially, not arithmetically.
